Meeting and Greeting in 2016 - Part 1

Now that the holiday break is finally over, we can resume our normal programming schedule.

We would like to start by announcing some of the events of 2016 where you can meet and greet our team. Our colleagues will be happy to listen and talk about your technological needs and issues.

Of course, we also welcome non-Memsource users to come and take a peek at what’s under the bonnet of our platform and future features.

Pocket Gamer Connects

On January 18th - 19th you can find us in London, at Pocket Gamer Connects. This is the must-attend event for the mobile games business with participants coming from the four corners of the world. Following the implementation of the Memsource platform many game localization companies have registered great results in terms of workflow optimization, team management and productivity. Sales rep Bryan Hutchinson is going to represent us there.

ELIA Together

On February 11-12 in Barcelona, ELIA, the European Language Industry Association, will hold ELIA Together, a new event for freelance language professionals and companies alike. The program consists of 3 different tracks: Relationships, Growth and Technology. We invite you to go and say hi to our head of sales Josef Kubovsky, who will be giving a presentation titled Can enterprise, LSPs and freelance language professionals work together in a transparent way?

E-Tail Germany

E-commerce is another industry where the Memsource technology has seen successful implementations. The fourth edition of E-Tail Germany (Berlin, March 8-10), will be focused on mobile commerce, multi-channel strategies, analytics and more. Bryan Hutchinson will be attending this two-day event.

Two other very important events within the translation industry are planned for March.

GALA (the Globalization and Localization Association) is holding its first event of 2016 in the Big Apple, on March 20-23. Like the past GALA events, the program comprises various sessions centered around corporate strategy, localization management, technology and interpreting, but also fun activities like a city tour and an international trivia night. Memsource is the WiFi sponsor and will be exhibiting in booth 9. Josef Kubovsky will be there.

LocWorld 30

Our CEO, David Čaněk, together with Josef Kubovsky and Memsource representative for Japan, Junko Kato, will attend LocWorld 30 (Tokyo, April 13-15), another of the must-visit events of our industry. We will also be present at the Game Localization Roundtable - one of the pre-conference activities within the LocWorld program and one the most important conferences world-wide for game developers, game publishers and game localization specialists.

Hannover Messe 2016

One of the main events in the field of industrial automation will take place in Germany. It’s the Hannover Messe 2016 (April 26-29). Javier Diaz will be there.

Global E-commerce Summit

On May 30 - June 1 it’s the turn of the Global E-commerce Summit, aimed at professionals in the e-commerce, cross-border trading and omnichannel retail fields. Bryan Hutchinson will be happy to give you a tour of our latest technological features.

LocWorld 31

The first half of 2016 will also see us at the 31st edition of LocWorld (June 8-10), this time in Dublin, Ireland. The focus will be on the role of localization and the relative technology in engaging the global customer. Like in the previous years, we will be exhibiting. Bryan Hutchinson and Javier Diaz will be happy to discuss localization matters with you. More info to follow.

And finally, just before the summer holiday, GameQA and Localization Europe will take place in Barcelona. The dates will be announced soon. So, keep coming back to our blog for further details.
